Spot Pet Store was started by two friends, Ben and Caroline, who met while working in the private jet industry. They both had a passion for delighting clients with above and beyond customer service, but longed to work with clients that loved them back unconditionally, even if their jet was late by two minutes or if their delivered bottled water was Evian instead of Fiji.

In December 2008, they opened a retail and grooming store in Mill Valley, CA to provide well-being care for pets. They labored over every detail of the new store. They hand-selected the best organic shampoos and conditioners. They tested toys on their own picky pets. Each harness was reviewed, each collar inspected. Along the way, they partnered up with some of their rancher friends who were raising some of the highest-quality livestock in the US to create healthy, grain-free pet treats.

The residents of Mill Valley appreciated the thorough research so they didn't have to wade through millions of pet products to determine which were duarble, attractive, tasty, appealing and most importantly, developed with the pet's well-being in mind. With the opening of SpotPetStore.com, these products are now offered to everyone!

And for the pet owners convenience, Spot Pet Store displays products offered by other stores if they are out of stock with the merchandise.
