A must-have for potty trainingOct 26, 2009

It's very important to clean up your puppy's messes with an enzyme cleaner so that the smell of urine is completely eradicated. Using various soaps may erase the smell sufficiently for the human nose, the dog's nose knows, and once your dog has established a spot, s/he will likely go there again. Nature's Miracle is the best product I've found for cleaning scents thoroughly enough to prevent my dog from returning to the scene of his crime. I like the spray bottle because I have hardwood floors, and you don't want to just pour liquid on the floor.
Unfortunately for me, I have also found that it is extremely effective for other types of accidents, such as vomit. It's a great all-around cleaner.

The best odor remover for housetraining.Aug 31, 2007
By Amber S. Morgan Many things will work to make people unable to detect the scent. This works to make DOGS unable to detect the scent. Dogs will pee in a spot where they smell pee...whether you smell it or not.
To use correctly:
Wipe up extra pee (or blot, if on carpet). Spray Nature's Miracle LIBERALLY (even on stray drops) and let sit for awhile. Blot up extra. If the dog peed on carpet, you're going to have to really saturate the area and leave for awhile, especially if you don't catch it right away.
Finally, spray a mist of NM on spot and allow to air dry. I've never had a problem with this product staining.
I've been a dog trainer and fosterer for over 15 years and I wouldn't waste my money on anything else. This is by far the best product on the market (the skunk stuff doesn't work as well, btw...not much does except LOTS of applications and time! ;-) )

whether it works depends on the stainMar 22, 2013
By Sneaky Burrito I have a non-potty-trained puppy and four cats. I had read that enzymatic cleaners were good for house training because dogs can detect odors that humans can't. This product was recommended in a lot of corners of the internet, so I decided to give it a try.
Unfortunately, Nature's Miracle spray was really not sufficient to get rid of the urine smell. It was maybe a little better if I just unscrewed the cap and poured it on the urine spots (a Rottweiler puppy has a pretty big bladder...), but if *I* could still smell the urine, then of course the puppy could.
At this point, you may be wondering why I gave the product three stars if it didn't work. Well, it didn't work for urine, but it DID work for other stains. My puppy had some issues with soft stools (just hadn't found the right food yet) and of course, at this young age (5 months) she's also quite excitable. So if she has soft stools, then steps in them, well, that is a nasty mess to clean up. And Nature's Miracle could definitely get rid of the poo smell. So it gets points for that.
And now for a brief digression to set up the other circumstance in which Nature's Miracle works for me. I had a cat last year who had inflammatory bowel disease. She threw up every day. I was not able to clean up all the stains. Spot Shot didn't work, my Bissell carpet cleaner didn't work. So I had a lot of old cat vomit stains on the carpet. I am still finding these stains. I tried some of the Nature's Miracle on several old vomit stains (and some fresh ones) and it did clean those up really well.
So...it's a no-go for puppy urine, but Nature's Miracle works pretty well for feces and vomit clean-up. (Sorry if elements of this review were a little bit of a gross-out, but this IS a product for cleaning up pet stains...)

Have bought this before, it really works!Apr 09, 2009
By petlover I had this product before from a pet supply company but they discontinued selling it. As I found it on Amazon I jumped on the option to buy again. If you have a dog, or if you board another dog on occasion, or even if you have more dogs - you definitely need this product! It eliminates the potty spots on carpets or hardwood floor, no repeat peeing on the same spot over and over again. Love it!

Nearly perfect....but here's the truth about pet odorSep 21, 2005

Among stain removers, this stuff is the best of the best that is out there. If your pet has an accident and you use this stuff right away, you may never detect a trace of odor again. HOWEVER, if you move into a home with pet odor or try to use this hours after an accident has happened, especially on carpet, it may be too late. By that time, the carpet may be soaked down to the padding.
In that case, you either live with the odor or tear up the carpeting and replace it. Your choice. But NOTHING gets out the smell of old pet stains permanently. Nothing.
